Yes, I have been managing to read, too! However, I have been remiss in posting updates.

Book #12 was Feline Fatale by Linda O Johnston. It's part of a cozy mystery series, featuring attorney/pet-sitter Kendra Ballantyne, who is a self-proclaimed "murder magnet" and finds herself solving crimes. I had to slog through the book to finish it. One review on the front cover proclaimed the author as a "brilliant writer". I found the writing to be repetitive, redundant and boring. My apologies if any of you likes Johnston, knows Johnston or is Johnston. She needed a competent beta. *nods*

Book #13 was Seducing the Moon by Sherrill Quinn. This was a paranormal romance, in which the main male character was a werewolf. The plot was interesting, and the female lead was spunky and self-reliant, which I like. Some plot elements were left unresolved, but this appears to be part of a series. Yes, I would read other books in this verse.

Book #14 was To Hate and to Hold by Dakota Rebel. Now, this book was engrossing; I read it in two days. It was a m/m vampire romance, and the two main characters reminded me quite a bit of Harry and Draco, in that they were constantly bickering and fighting and challenging one another. I enjoyed the characterizations, and I really loved how Jamie and Ethan's relationship progressed. The sex scenes were frequent and hot. *grins* Will definitely be looking for more m/m from this author!
