Finally finished Awaiting the Moon by Donna Lea Simpson. It told the story of Elizabeth Stanwyck who travels to Germany as a tutor to escape a tattered reputation in England. There, she meets Lord Nicholas von Wolfram and is drawn to him and to the web of intrigue that seems to surround his family.
It was more gothic than paranormal, which initially disappointed me, but the plot and characterization were very good and more than made up for it. I know I have at least one more book in this series, and I do intend to read it eventually.
