Jo is on Oprah today, and she states she hasn't ruled out returning to the verse of Harry Potter.

My belief is that she is going to return to the HP verse and write the new adventures of the Next Gen kids. Think about it. Jo has put way too much thought into who married whom, what their careers are, and how many children they had, as well as the names of said children.

She's not just thinking about it; she's plotting. In a good way, of course!

Eeek! Must log in here more often. *grins*

I really do think JKR will do more in the HP verse.

I wouldn't be surprised. But it could also be for the infamous 'Scottish Book' too. The encyclopedia type thing on all things Harry Potter that she is planning on publishing one day.

I would love a reporter to ask her "If one of your kids came up to you one day in say 10 to 15 years time and wanted to write more in the world of Harry Potter. What would you say? Would you let them do it?" *grins*

That would be an interesting question to ask! One of my other favorite authors, Anne McCaffrey, now has her son Todd writing in her most famous "verse"--the Dragonriders of Pern series.
