25 books: No. 1

Finished my first book of the year. I read "Hunting Ground" by Patricia Briggs. Yes, I bought it forever ago, but I only now got around to reading it. I had a hard time putting it down at night when it was bedtime. I love Briggs' verse that began with the Mercy Thompson series and now has this parallel plot of Anna and Charles. These are the kind of books that I finish and then keep near my bed for another week or two so I can pick them up and reread favorite parts.

If you like urban fantasy and haven't read the Mercy Thompson or Alpha/Omega series, I can't urge you strongly enough to give them a try.
