Book 4, 2013
Feb. 24th, 2013 05:40 pmLast night, I finished reading Cairo Catwalk by AJ Ryan. I hesitate to call it a book, because it was less than 50 pages. It reminded me of a 20k fanfiction, quite honestly.
The book is a male/male paranormal, featuring male models Nash and Ryan, who are in Egypt on a photo shoot. While visiting a night club, they follow a beautiful young Egyptian boy who promises them pleasures such as they've never known.
The story, what there was of it, was interesting, although not extraordinary. The author certainly didn't waste time or words on characterization or backstory, but we learn enough to follow along.
I'm sort of ambivalent about this one. Two stars. It would have gotten three, had it been an actual novel-length story.
